Job summary

Walgreens in Brainerd, MN is seeking a versatile inventory associate to manage store and pharmacy inventory, perform receiving/counting, and drive on-shelf availability. You will help price items accurately, process returns, and support warehouse/vendor activities while ensuring planograms are correct.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed; prior Walgreens or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including both front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and is responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes.
• Validates and ensures accuracy of planograms.
• Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the proper use of reports and system applications, which have an impact on the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries. Focuses on One Box receiving.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration.
