Job summary

Walgreens Buffalo is seeking an inventory-focused team member to support both front-end and pharmacy operations. The role centers on executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy to ensure on-shelf availability.

You will review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing, uphold asset protection, and assist with store opening/closing, cash handling, and customer service delivery.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens or one year of retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Manage on-shelf availability and accuracy of planograms.
• Review reports and system applications impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform asset protection tasks and file vendor-related overage/shortage claims.
• Open and close store in absence of management where required; handle cash and POS duties.
• Handle warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including orders and deliveries.
• Ensure pricing accuracy, signages, and regulatory pricing tasks.
