Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented inventory specialist to manage inventory accuracy, post transactions, and support cycle counts. The role requires a forklift license, strong data entry, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment.

You will coordinate with purchasing and master scheduling, audit inventory movements, and assist with month-end inventory processes while adhering to company policies. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand work instructions, production standards and Company communications.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business needs.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
• Ability to measure, read, and interpret a tape measure.
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a forklift operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Verify inventory accuracy and monitor inventory systems to meet accuracy requirements.
• Post and record inventory movement and usage, and support cycle counts in the area of responsibility.
• Support month end physical inventory and print inventory reports.
• Be cross functional and multitask orientated within inventory and purchasing areas to fill in as a backup to other functions.
• Abide by all FBIN policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
