Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory integrity across physical and ERP systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work with Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and issuance of materials to support production schedules.

You will drive cycle counting, audits, and corrective actions, while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational school diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in Material Management, Manufacturing Operations, or related field.
• Experience working in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Track, receive, identify, and document inbound inventory per company procedures.
• Coordinate shipping activities and ensure outbound materials are processed and documented.
• Maintain alignment between physical inventory stock levels and ERP data.
• Own inventory accuracy by executing and maintaining a cycle count program.
• Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve variances.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support daily production kitting and ensure floor is supplied per monthly plan.
• Optimize storage locations to improve space utilization and material flow.
• Maintain compliance with procedures, documentation standards, and security requirements.
• Lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control and data accuracy.
