Job summary

Castelion in New Mexico seeks an Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory integrity across physical stock and ERP data, collaborating with Purchasing, Production and Supply Chain in a fast-paced New Mexico manufacturing environment.

You will track inbound/outbound materials, run cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, support production kitting, optimize storage, and ensure compliance with procedures and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Material Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• Experience working in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach and a demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Track, receive, identify, and document inbound inventory per procedures.
• Coordinate shipping activities and ensure outbound materials are documented.
• Maintain alignment between physical inventory and ERP data.
• Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve variances.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support daily production kitting and ensure materials are available per plan.
• Optimize storage locations to improve space utilization and material flow.
• Maintain compliance with procedures, documentation standards, and security.
