Job summary

Resmed in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to organize and perform inventory control activities, ensuring items are received and stored properly across warehouse locations.

The role collaborates with the inventory team, follows internal procedures, investigates discrepancies with the Inventory Control Analyst, and supports the warehouse as needed. The shift runs 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.
• Works under immediate supervision; no independent judgement typically required.
• Reports to a supervisor/manager.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately processed and stored.
• Organize and perform daily inventory activities with the inventory team to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Work with Inventory Control Analyst to investigate, research and address inventory issues and discrepancies.
• Research and recount inventory discrepancies identified by the Inventory Control Analyst.
• Coordinate cycle counts with the inventory team.
• Provide support wherever needed to the warehouse team.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
