Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for first shift, with no weekend work. You will evaluate salvage vehicle inventory, accurately identify makes/models/options, and decipher option codes to ensure proper parts interchange.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, communicating opportunities to leadership, and collaborating with the dismantle team to optimize processes. Must be able to work outdoors and use PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year related experience in an inventory role preferred.
• Experience handling vehicle inventory and parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review the company’s inventory management.
• Identify vehicle make, model and options accurately.
• Decipher option codes to ensure correct parts interchange.
• Assess inventory levels and determine stocking needs for salvage inventory.
• Communicate inventory opportunities to leadership.
• Investigate missing inventory and correct errors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cross-checks.
• Collaborate with dismantle team and management on process changes.
• Adapt to outdoor work conditions and use PPE as required.
