Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply is seeking an Inventory Associate for 1st shift in Indianapolis, IN. You will help maintain accurate inventory levels, organize storage locations, and support daily warehouse operations with a focus on quality and teamwork.

The role requires basic inventory systems familiarity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. Forklift experience and 5S knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management or related field is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform frequent stock checks and locate items.
• Maintain and update inventory locations using 5S principles.
• Create new storage locations and label racks as needed.
• Keep inventory areas clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Support Inventory team with general tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
