Job summary

Culton Companies in Trussville, AL is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to own day-to-day accuracy of client inventory. You will receive, count, label, and store items, and keep EF Item Records up to date, working closely with the Portable Operations Manager and warehouse team.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and the ability to lift and move inventory. Competitive hourly pay is offered with a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive new client inventory as it arrives.

• Update EF Item Records to reflect current inventory and location.
• Conduct regular audits of client orphan bins.
• Reconcile orphaned items back to storage and update EF Item Records accordingly.

Description

Culton Companies designs and builds award-winning trade show exhibits and branded promotional programs for clients all over the country. Within our ExpoDisplays Operations team, Portable & Promotional manages the client swag and portable inventory that keeps those programs running — and this role is the backbone of keeping that inventory accurate. You'll report to the Portable Operations Manager and work closely with our Portable warehouse team and Trade Show Coordinators.

You'll own the day-to-day accuracy of client inventory — receiving it, counting and bundling it to spec, labeling and storing it correctly, and keeping our EF Item Records current. You'll handle routine intake, counting, labeling, and storage decisions on your own, and know exactly when to bring something to your manager, whether it's a paperwork discrepancy, damaged goods, or anything off-procedure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Receive new client inventory as it arrives


• Count and bundle client items according to client specifications


• Label items according to inventory system standards


• Pack items appropriately on shelves, in blue bins, or in boxes based on the correct storage method for each item type


• Update EF Item Records to reflect current inventory and location


• Conduct regular audits of client orphan bins


• Reconcile orphaned items back to storage and update EF Item Records accordingly

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with ExhibitForce (EF) or similar inventory management software


• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics


• Background in the trade show, promotional products, or events industry


• Experience reconciling inventory discrepancies or conducting cycle counts

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

• Full-time, hourly position — Monday through Friday, standard warehouse hours (or thereabouts)


• Competitive hourly pay based on experience


• Based at our Trussville, Alabama headquarters facility
