Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

1. Picking orders to customer demands
2. Verification of order accuracy
3. Accurate accounting of inventory and resolution of discrepancies
4. Receiving shipments, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations
5. Follow appropriate safety procedures
6. Cycle count as systemically generated by our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system
7. Maintain a clean and neat work environment in your area of responsibility
8. Any other activity directed by the Site Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Inventory Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

1. High school degree or equivalent
2. 6 months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
4. Knowledge of personal computers; Mouse, Scanner, Keyboard familiarity
5. Ability to communicate effectively with on-site SCS team
6. Ability to work in an industrial environment with the possibility of exposure to heat, noise, and dirt.
7. Background checks and drug tests are required for this position.
