Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure On-Shelf Availability and validate planogram accuracy.
- Review and coordinate reports and system applications impacting inventory accuracy and pricing.
- Implement and maintain asset protection techniques, and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
- In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for the business day.
Customer Experience
- Engage customers, greet them, and assist with products and services. Resolve issues as the leader on duty to ensure positive experiences.
- Model customer service best practices, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
- Scan deliveries, perform One Box receiving, and coordinate with vendors for undelivered receipts.
- Verify pharmacy shipments and postings, complete On-Shelf Availability processes, and manage pharmacy inventory activities.
- Support pricing activities, monitor orders, maintain inventory counts, and ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Assist with physical inventory preparation, maintain store systems, and support package delivery activities.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training sessions, complete e-learning modules, and maintain necessary certifications, including pharmacy licenses.
Communications
- Serve as liaison between management and team members, communicate tasks, and report issues. Requirements include six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience, fluency in English, and a flexible schedule. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, operational problem-solving skills, and preferably prior leadership or pharmacy experience.
