Job description

Summary

The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the inventory program. They will oversee processes and procedures for the designated program, with experience working with large-volume, small-part inventories. The role requires strong organizational skills to handle large data sets and extract key information. A mindset focused on continuous improvement is essential to identify the right candidate for this position.

You will track all inventory used by contractors for installing WIFI cable and burying fiber, including materials such as splitters, construction materials, vaults (for electrical wiring protection), and markers, on contractor sites. Inventory will be labeled and stored appropriately. Note that this is not in a client’s warehouse but on contractor sites, which may include buildings with small warehouses and docks.

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements

1. Verify stock information and unit identification numbers
2. Inventory and audit equipment and parts
3. Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production
4. Maintain accurate inventory records
5. Perform cycle counts and audits according to company policies
6. Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor
