Job summary

TRC Services of Texas, Inc. in Midland, TX seeks an Inventory Specialist to compile and review data from various inventory sources, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate records. You will ensure proper tagging, signage accuracy, and collaborate with yard personnel to meet control standards.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to analyze discrepancies, and participation in meetings and training sessions. This position is based in-person in Midland and offers standard benefits.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and reviews data from inventory reports and system records to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conducts cycle counts as per schedule and reconciles results with system data.
• Reviews tagging and signage for accuracy and initiates corrective action.
• Collaborates with inventory management and yard personnel to maintain accuracy and compliance with control and inventory systems.
• Provides information to internal customers about product usage, availability and application when necessary.
• Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to TRC standards by stocking, facing, straightening, and cleaning to maintain appearance and salability of items.
• Researches discrepancies on store orders and proposes solutions.
• Attends required meetings and training sessions.

• Compiles and reviews data from sources such as customer inventory reports, plant inspection reports, and system inventory reports. Enters information into inventory systems to maintain inventory record accuracy.
• Conducts accurate cycle counts as per schedule and compares results to system data. Makes adjustments based on established policies and management approval.
• Reviews product tagging and signage for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrective action.
• Works with inventory management, and yard personnel in order to maintain accuracy and compliance with control and inventory systems.
• Provides information to internal customers and co-workers about product usage, availability and application when necessary.
• Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to TRC standards by stocking, facing, straightening, and cleaning or any other task necessary to maintain appearance and salability of items.
