A leading retail company is seeking a dedicated inventory management professional to oversee inventory processes, enhance customer experiences, and ensure compliance with operational standards. This role involves training team members, managing inventory accuracy, and engaging with customers to provide exceptional service.
Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures across the store, including front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensures on-shelf availability and manages all in-store inventory processes, including planogram validation.
Reviews and coordinates reports and system applications impacting inventory accuracy and pricing. Implements asset protection techniques and manages claims related to overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
In designated stores, opens and closes the store, handling system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring readiness of the floor and stockroom.
Engages customers proactively, resolving issues and answering questions to promote a positive shopping experience. Shares customer service best practices with team members, emphasizing interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
Executes and coaches team members on inventory management processes, including order creation, review, and receipt. Manages delivery scans, warehouse, and direct store delivery processes, including handling discrepancies and damages.
Verifies pharmacy shipments and postings, manages pharmacy inventory activities, and ensures accurate pricing and signage. Supports inventory compliance with laws and maintains records, preparing for physical inventories and supporting inventory day activities.
Maintains organized and accurate inventory counts across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations. Assists with package delivery activities, including scanning, returns, and supporting the Pickup Program.
In stores serving as leader on duty, manages POS transactions, records, and customer interactions related to sales, returns, and refunds. Ensures compliance with policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Participates in company training and completes e-learning modules. Maintains necessary pharmacy licenses or certifications.
Acts as a liaison between management and staff, coaching on inventory systems, communicating tasks, and reporting issues.
