Job summary

SPI is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory. You will play a vital role in daily facility operations and safety. The position emphasizes forklift handling, cycle counting, and ensuring secure loads for minimal damage.

Candidates should be 18+, have a valid driver’s license if driving for the company, and be able to use handheld scanners. Prior warehouse experience is required, forklift certification preferred. Local travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, store in an orderly and accessible manner, inspect stock items for wear or defects and report to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Stand and perform tasks up to 12 hours, with lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
