Job summary

Chromalox, Inc. is seeking a Material Clerk to oversee incoming products, dispatch shipments, and move materials to designated storage areas.

You will follow a priority dispatch list, work with assigned teams, and ensure timely material issues to meet shipping commitments. The role involves maintaining logs and replenishment orders, performing JDE transactions for received and issued materials, and ensuring materials are accessible for use as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse experience or training.
• Ability to handle up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Experience with automated order scanners.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, cherry picker).

Responsibilities

• Stage inventory and maintain kitting systems for parts and orders used in production areas and for assigned project orders.
• Utilize pick lists to pull and kit parts for production, project, or customer orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely material transactions; manage inventory levels.
• Perform daily Cycle Count and major variance root cause analysis; assist with annual physical inventory.
• Plan, prepare, and pack products for customer shipments.
• Select materials for packing or protection; determine bracing or blocking to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Check packing lists for inclusion of all components and parts.
• Restock merchandise.
• Work individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Other duties per process improvements.
