Zusammenfassung

Chromalox is seeking a Material Handler (2nd shift) to oversee incoming products and shipping from the warehouse. You will move materials to storage areas, follow the priority dispatch list, and resolve issues to meet on-time shipping commitments.

You will also prepare and log replenishment orders, manage part shortages, and complete JDE transactions for materials received and issued. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and teamwork to improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• At least one year of warehouse experience and/or training.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable operating an automated order scanner.
• Comfortable operating a forklift/hand truck and other warehouse equipment.
• Works the 2nd shift: 12:00-8:00pm or 11:00-7:00pm.

Aufgaben

• Stage inventory and maintain kitting systems for parts and orders used in production areas and for assigned project orders using production schedules.
• Utilize pick lists to pull and kit all parts necessary for production, project orders, or customer orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of material transactions; manage inventory levels.
• Perform daily Cycle Count and major variance root cause analysis; assist with annual physical inventory.
• Plan, prepare, and pack products for customer shipments.
• Select materials for packing or protection of products and method of bracing or blocking to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Check against packing list for inclusion of all components and parts.
• Restock merchandise.
• Work individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Participate in process improvements as assigned.
