Job summary

M. G. Newell Corporation is seeking a warehouse inventory coordinator to manage inbound/outbound shipments and ensure accurate stock levels at our Greensboro facility. The role involves auditing materials, organizing job staging, and preparing shipments by container and pallet.

You will perform daily cycle counts, handle pickups, and work with ERP/WMS systems to maintain inventory integrity. Safety, independence, and teamwork are essential to succeed in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety practices and policies at all times.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Safely load and unload products for trucks or containers.
• Strong communication to service internal customers and collaborate with other departments.
• Basic computer knowledge in Warehouse management, ERP or other inventory system.
• Ability to lift/move inventory up to 50 lbs; daily walking/standing.
• Strong management and organizational skills to work independently.
• Ability to build crates as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments and material audits for projects.
• Pick, quality audit, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Approve/handle shipment requests; schedule carrier pickups/deliveries.
• Integrate inventory between jobs and distribution orders; manage returns.
• Organize individual job staging and coordinate loading shipments.
• Load shipments on UPS, LTL, and trucks as needed.
• Prepare items and BOM for outbound jobs by container and shipment.
• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items.
• Make local pick-ups/deliveries between buildings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
