Job summary

LiquidPiston Inc. in Bloomfield, CT, seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate records, process receipts and issues, and support cycle counts and audits. The role also handles shipping to customers and suppliers and assists purchasing with data.

This onsite position offers growth opportunities within a growing engineering company, with relocation to Suffield, CT planned later in 2026. Strong Excel/ERP skills and detail-oriented work are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP/Excel systems
• Perform daily inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting
• Ship to customers and suppliers
• Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations
• Communicate inventory concerns to purchasing, production, and management teams
