Job summary

Chatsworth Products (CPI) is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Round Rock, TX. You will maintain inventory accuracy and integrity through physical and administrative tasks across records, counts, and audits.

You will compile quantities, types and values of materials, drive forklift daily, and support CPI’s employee-ownership culture with meticulous recordkeeping and proactive discrepancy resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Ability to resolve inventory discrepancies independently.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies record computations against physical count and adjusts discrepancies.
• Counts material and posts totals to inventory records.
• Completes physical inventories and audits as required.
• Monitors and protects inventory integrity.
• Maintains product identification and location systems.
• Researches discrepancies and reconciles them.

Job description

As a CPI Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for the physical or administrative tasks associated with maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.

As a CPI Inventory Control Clerk, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world’s digital technology. Day to day, you will, Compile and keep records of quantity, type and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise or supplies.

Essential Functions

• Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
• Counts material and posts totals to inventory property records.
• Responsible for completing physical inventories / cycle counts/ random or receipt audits /reconciliations
• Monitors and controls inventory integrity.
• Maintains product identification and location program.
• Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
