Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Analyst, Research I to reconcile discrepancies across the warehouse systems using R-Log or WMS and related databases. The role focuses on timely resolution to meet SLA metrics for time in the facility, with emphasis on improving inventory processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include researching issues, maintaining FIFO flow, communicating recurring problems, and contributing to continuous improvement programs while ensuring customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience including computer skills.
• Effective communication and PC skills required.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve discrepancies accurately using all available resources.
• Maintain the flow of discrepant product by resolving issues in FIFO or prioritization order.
• Communicate repetitive errors and problems to the Inventory Control Manager.
• Assist in identifying root causes of discrepancies and recommend preventive actions; report findings to the Supervisor and Customer.
• Maintain positive relationships with accounts by responding to inquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Report feedback to management, including signs of dissatisfaction.
• Implement and promote continuous improvement in warehouse and inventory functions using established quality processes (ISO, account-specific, etc.) and active participation in High Performance Work Teams.
• Understand and meet all customer quality goals.
• Participate in quality programs and project teams.
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement of departmental work processes and operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
