Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Inventory Planner to support strong supply chain performance by maintaining accurate inventory positions across channels and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory management or replenishment, with an Associate’s degree or equivalent. You will collaborate with Buyers, Planners, stores, and DCs to optimize inventory flow and support seasonal planning.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in inventory management, merchandise planning, or replenishment required.

Responsabilités

• Support strong supply chain performance by maintaining accurate inventory positions across channels and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand.
• Daily work includes analyzing replenishment reports, identifying imbalances, and adjusting inventory levels to support sales and service goals.
• Collaboration across merchandising, distribution centers, and store teams ensures inventory decisions reflect business needs.
• Overseeing supplier lead times and maintaining replenishment parameters to ensure items flow efficiently through the network.
• Facilitate store communication, support seasonal and promotional inventory planning, and ensure documentation and internal controls are consistently maintained.
• The role blends analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional coordination.
