Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Inventory Associate to maintain accurate inventory positions and support replenishment across channels. You will analyze replenishment reports, adjust stock levels, and manage purchase orders to ensure product availability for customer demand.

You will collaborate with Buyers, Planners, DCs, and store teams to align receipt flow with sales expectations while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of related experience in inventory management, merchandise planning, or replenishment required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment with strict attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ability to learn Oracle Retail applications.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond positively to new challenges.
• Customer‑focused mindset when making business decisions.

Responsibilities
