Job summary

The Exchange in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced inventory and merchandising professional to oversee in-stock performance across categories. You will forecast demand, manage receipts, plan replenishment, and optimize vendor lead times and stock levels from the distribution center to stores.

As a management role, you will supervise replenishment activities, coordinate with planners, and ensure accurate orders and safety stock to support the assortment fit plan.

Qualifications

• Four years of management level experience in forecasting, buying, replenishment, allocation, inventory or materials planning.
• Or: Bachelor's degree and two years of management level experience in forecasting, buying, replenishment, allocation, inventory or materials planning.

Responsibilities

• Works with planner in developing the inventory and service plan at sub-class/item level that supports alignment with the assortment fit plan.
• Manages purchases and inventory flow from vendor to distribution center and vendor direct to store door.
• Manages and modifies replenishment parameters and settings to achieve sales, inventory, service plans.
• Monitor vendor delivery performance issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Collaborates with planning team on new product orders, store setups, remodels, and distribution center vendor returns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
