Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX, seeks a Warehouse Associate for the Consolidated Service Center. You will put away received items, replenish low locations, and use MHE, RF devices, and WMS to keep inventory flowing safely and efficiently.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of material handling experience, and familiarity with electric equipment; MHE certification is a plus and strong analytical and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a material handling-related position.
• Experience utilizing electric and/or motorized material handling equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Puts away products in storage locations once received into inventory.
• Performs daily replenishment activities.
• Operates fork lifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other electric/motorized material handling equipment.
• Follows up and resolves any receiving put away-related issues.
• Works closely with Consolidated Service Center (CSC) team members to resolve inbound product receipt issues.
• Enforces and practices safety rules to maintain a safe working environment.
• May be required to work overtime and/or weekends when needed.
• Models Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences.
