Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Distribution Tech to accurately fill supply orders for its network of hospitals, offsite centers, and corporate departments. The role supports the offsite Distribution Center through routine packing, shipment prep, and inventory control practices, while aiding Par Replenishment teams for timely restocking at multiple campuses.

Required two years in material handling/distribution and the Houston Methodist HM certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in material handling/distribution required.
• Healthcare product distribution or related industry preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• MHE HM certification required (Houston Methodist Material Handling Equipment)
• Sufficient English language proficiency for safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Fill supply orders for Houston Methodist network hospitals, offsite centers, and corporate departments.
• Assist with order fulfillment, packaging, shipment preparation and inventory control best practices.
• Support Par Replenishment Teams for low unit of measure replenishment.
• Ensure items are palletized and labeled correctly for delivery.
• Collaborate with Logistics Shift Lead and other Technicians to meet daily truck departures.
• Maintain accuracy and safety in all warehouse operations.
