Job summary

North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Stocker/Receiver to assist the Food & Beverage team with receiving, stocking, and inventory control. You will verify deliveries against orders, inspect items, and keep the Dry Storage and Dock areas organized.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks, including reconciliation of deliveries to orders and distributing incoming items to appropriate departments/locations.
• Respond to supplier and employee inquiries for order status, substitutions, or cancellations.
• Verifies incoming goods against invoices and inspects the condition/freshness of contents before accepting delivery.
• Accepts and returns merchandise per management instructions.
• Maintain and organize the Dry Storage room, rotating stock by date of receipt for freshness.
• Deliver perishables to the kitchen in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized Dock area and clean the dock at the end of the day.
• Collaborate with the purchasing manager regarding sourcing, product quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Perform weekly offsite pickups and specialty pickups/returns as requested.
• Monitor inventory supplies and alert the Purchasing Manager to reorder needs.
