Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Receiving Associate in Leeds, AL to support physical inventory, counting, and material handling. You will read blueprints, measure items with tapes, and document results using Excel. This 1st shift role offers weekly pay and access to Aspire Academy for upskilling.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, labeling, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Prior experience with inventory control and basic drawings is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data entry and spreadsheet management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, or schematics.
• Ability to use a tape measure and read measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory and cycle count activities.
• Count, verify, and reconcile material quantities in designated locations.
• Operate motorized material-handling equipment safely, including forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and basic technical documents.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Utilize scales to weigh materials and record results.
• Gather, organize, and maintain project-related data using Microsoft Excel.
• Create labels and place them in specific material locations.
