Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Trussville, AL to maintain and process shipments by posting delivery schedules and organizing receiving reports. You will verify merchandise counts, route goods to correct locations, and handle related expenses.

You’ll also maintain the Receiving area using standard procedures and equipment, ensure documentation is complete, and support safety practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and processes shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules.
• Compiles and organizes receiving reports, verifies merchandise counts, routes merchandise to proper locations, and pays expenses.
• Receives merchandise for the Facility and organizes the Receiving area using company procedures and equipment.
• Merchandising and completing required documentation.
• Tracks and processes claims, returns damaged goods, handles liquidation, and maintains the clearance area.
• Uses technology to capture required reporting and documentation.
• Maintains facility safety by following safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and proper forklift spotting.
