Job summary

Walmart is seeking a warehouse associate at its Meridian, MS facility to maintain and process shipments, receiving merchandise, and route items to correct locations. You will track claims, manage damaged goods, and support liquidation efforts while upholding safety policies and open communication with management and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification is required or will be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Develop and post delivery schedules and organize receiving reports.
• Verify merchandise counts and route merchandise to proper locations.
• Receive merchandise and maintain the Receiving area following procedures.
• Process and track claims, handle damaged goods and liquidation.
• Maintain facility safety by following safety standards and forklift procedures.
• Comply with company policies, ethics, Open Door Policy, and collaborate with managers and partners.
• Identify priorities and communicate progress to meet deadlines.
