Job summary

Rural King in Princeton, IN, is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store.

You will receive shipments, process purchase orders, verify inventory, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor while ensuring a clean, safe receiving area. This role requires reliability and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.
• Ability to follow procedures and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds repetitively and 31–50 pounds intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, organize, and distribute freight throughout the store.
• Replenish merchandise and assist with store inventory during high-demand periods.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments accurately.
• Follow apparel receiving and merchandising procedures, including tagging and rack organization.
