Qualifications

• Receive items for store departments and verify against invoices/billing statements.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in logistics/receiving.
• Work under supervision of department managers to support customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Greet customers and answer inquiries regarding items.
• Engage with vendors and maintain professional relationships.
• Receive, unload and unpack shipments from vendors.
• Inspect items for defects and sort by defect level.
• Document issues for returns due to incorrect items or damage.
• Attach identification data to items.
• Receive all items from FedEx or UPS and route to correct department.
• Input receiving data (item, quantity, price) into computer systems.
