Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. You will receive shipments, process purchase orders, verify inventory, sort freight, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include using scan guns and computer systems to document receipts, communicating discrepancies, and maintaining receiving records.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders and inventory control preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory systems.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify discrepancies with PO, DC, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and research negative inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, and distribute freight; replenish merchandise.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments.
• Follow tagging, labeling, rack organization, and stock levels.
