Job summary

Floor & Decor in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations. You will unload, audit, and stage product, complete receiving paperwork, and help rotate inventory while ensuring safety practices.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, forklift certification, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours during peak seasons. Base pay starts at $15.10 per hour with raises based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail and accurate with paperwork.
• Ability to work in varying weather and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Unload, audit, and stage products for receiving and inventory recovery.
• Ensure receiving paperwork is properly completed and stored to conserve space.
• Oversee inventory rotation and storage in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as directed by management and adhere to safety SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training (including forklift certification).
