Job summary

New Leader Manufacturing seeks a Receiving Material Handler in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role supports production and shipping by pulling, staging, and reporting on parts and equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory counts and following schedules.

Strong attention to safety, math, and basic ERP/office software is required. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in material handling, reads measurement tools, and can work with MS Word/Excel; Outlook is a plus.

Qualifications

• One+ years of related material handling or inventory control experience required.
• Ability to read tape measure up to 1/32", and interpret dial caliper measurements and hand tools as needed.
• Intermediate computer skills; use of computer systems to clock-in/out and report activities; Word and Excel required; Outlook preferred.
• Good math skills; ability to operate with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• ERP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and reports parts/equipment accurately from order/pick lists and stages material.
• Maintains accurate part identification, stocking locations, and inventory counts.
• Supports production/shipping schedules to timely receive, pack, or pull parts.
• Safely moves materials, checks identifications, and reports discrepancies.
• Completes cycle counts and communicates with team and supervisor.
