Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Supply Clerk for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations. Under general supervision, you will handle warehouse support, requisitioning, receiving, processing, delivering, storing and issuing building supplies and related materials for the Housing & Supply Center.

The role requires a high school education and at least two years of warehouse or retail storage experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English as commensurate with job duties.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack requisitioned materials; examine conformity to specs.
• Label and stock stock bins; ensure shelves are filled.
• Process incoming orders and issue stock per policies.
• Deliver orders per management instructions.
• Perform inventories and estimate replenishment needs.
