Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Supply Clerk for the Division of IP&O in New Brunswick, NJ. The role performs warehouse support, including receiving, labeling, stocking, and issuing building and repair supplies, and supporting the Housing & Supply Center.

Under general supervision you will process orders, complete deliveries, conduct inventories, and coordinate with management to ensure accurate stock levels. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent plus two years warehouse or retail storage/issuing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English as commensurate with job duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack requisitioned materials and inspect for conformance.
• Label, stock, and ensure stock bins/shelves are properly supplied.
• Process incoming orders and issue stock per requisition and procedures.
• Deliver orders as directed by management.
• Perform periodic inventories and estimate replenishment needs.
