Job summary

Ideal Setech, LLC is seeking a dependable Receiver in Burton, MI to maintain inventory accuracy by receiving and storing materials, picking inventory, and performing cycle counts. The role collaborates with MRP Planners and suppliers and includes weekend overtime.

You will unload inbound material with powered equipment, verify part accuracy, and ensure documentation matches orders. SAP experience is valued, as is strong numerical and communicationAbility.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, computer and communication skills.
• MRO/warehousing and inventory knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable by employer’s insurance carrier
• Must have strong attention to details and be good with numbers.
• Ability to problem solve and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Unloads inbound material using powered industrial vehicles, fork truck, order picker.
• Verifies part accuracy, quantity, and quality of parts. Ensures parts received match packing slip and purchase orders.
• Receives material into SAP inventory keeping system.
• Works with MRP Planners, SME’s and Suppliers to resolve inbound material discrepancies.
• Maintains a non-conforming material (NCM) log and audits weekly until discrepancies are resolved.
• Attends weekly NCM meetings.
• Reverses SAP receipt transactions when material is to be returned to supplier and prepares parts for shipping. Arranges transportation to suppliers.
• Processes and ships material transfers to other GM plant locations.
• Arrange transportation for part shipment to GM plants as needed.
• Support cycle count activity as needed.
• Other tasks/duties as required.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
