Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory / Quality Manager in the Charlotte area to lead kitting, inspection, and documentation, ensuring materials meet specs, safety, and delivery timelines while driving continuous improvement.

The role oversees a team, tracks inventory costs, and supports KPI achievement across GMP, safety, and quality goals. Qualified candidates have supervisory experience, at least 3 years in inventory roles, and familiarity with WMS, OSHA, and Lean concepts; a

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Three (3) years or more manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience required.
• Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required.
• Three (3) years or more PC Inventory and accounting skills required; Three (3) years or more problem solving skills; use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracks day-to-day facility inventory costs and assists in supporting the facility KPI’s to meet/exceed goals, including GMP’s, safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Maintain daily reports to measure daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems for ongoing and future facility needs.
• Develop and manage the facility cycle count program and the inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
• Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
• Facilitates and executes the hold process for local site.
• Influence development of employees and conduct periodic performance evaluations of direct reports.
• Ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide necessary information for employees.
