Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory QA Associate in our Waterloo, IA area. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and audit receiving and put‑away processes to ensure inventory integrity.

You will support QA efforts, generate reports, and help refine quality systems across production teams. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in inventory control or QA, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control or quality assurance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient communication, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Audit receiving and put-away processes and assist with audits.
• Maintain inventory accuracy according to protocols.
• Assist QA processes and quality standards with production teams.
• Develop and improve reports on standards and testing methods.
• Contribute to QA and control systems documentation.
• Audit and review quality data according to procedures.
• Coordinate data for technical documentation to improve methods.
• Adhere to HSE policies and ensure safe work environment.
• Ensure regular attendance to support team operations.
• Perform other duties to support team goals.
