Naval Support Activity Monterey, at the Hotel Del Monte operation, seeks an inventory support specialist to manage lodging inventory and purchasing records. You will handle automated databases, perform routine reports, and support MSDS safety standards on site.

The role requires one year of inventory/purchasing experience, calculator and computer software proficiency, and strong English communication. On-site duties include clerical tasks and ensuring accuracy in supplies and reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires one year of work experience in inventory and purchasing procedures.
• Familiarity with automated supply databases to enter, correct, and retrieve reports.
• Proficient with calculator and computer software (word processing and spreadsheets).
• May act as APF or NAF credit card holder.
• Knowledge of standardized supply regulations and local supply organization structure.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic math and reading skills.
