Job summary

Easton Utilities is seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Clerk I to maintain an organized warehouse and stock levels for daily and emergency use in Easton, MD. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor and involves physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities include organizing requisitions, managing shipping/receiving, restocking trucks, and tracking inventory numbers.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair skills.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and storage yard to meet Easton Utilities needs.
• Inform the supervisor when supply levels are low.
• Keep requisition sheets organized with inventory numbers.
• Handle all shipping and receiving duties and sign documents.
• Ensure trucks are stocked by daily replenishment.
• Track cable/pipe usage and assign inventory numbers.
