Job summary

Greater Houston Retailers Cooperative Association, Inc. (GHRA) seeks a Supply Planner to manage end-to-end inventory planning and purchase orders, ensuring optimal stock levels and service levels.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize inbound flows and vendor performance, leveraging data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in supply planning, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems; proficiency in Excel is required for daily analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field.
• 2+ years in a supply planning role with S&OP/IBP experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of inventory.
• Manage PO creation to warehouse receipt in a timely manner.
• Optimize reorder points, safety stock, ABC categorization, MOQ.
• Analyze vendor fill rate, lead times, and inbound capacity.
• Perform regular inventory reviews with stakeholders.
• Negotiate with vendors to optimize MOQs and terms.
