Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inventory plans that support production schedules and demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust to minimize shortages and excess.
• Analyze trends and forecasts to optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for timely replenishment of materials.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Warehouse to ensure material availability.
• Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and suggest cost-reducing strategies.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track transactions and planning activities.
• Track metrics like inventory turns, fill rates, and stock accuracy.
• Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist continuous improvement initiatives in planning and supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership.
