Job summary

Walgreens in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Inventory and Operations Associate to execute and monitor store inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensure on-shelf availability with accurate planograms under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries. Focuses on One Box receiving and resolves past undelivered receipts.
• Under pharmacist-in-charge supervision, verifies pharmacy shipments and postings of pharmacy orders daily, and reports shortages or damaged product.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes for planogrammed departments, including disposals and vendor returns.
