Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused professional to manage and train inventory best practices across the store and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, returns, and ensure planogram and pricing accuracy while maintaining strong customer service and store operations.

In this role, you will review reports affecting on-hand balances, assist in pricing updates, and participate in store opening/closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail work preferred.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and ensure planograms accuracy and pricing.
• Review and coordinate use of reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close store in absence of management, handle cash, POS duties, and prep floor for business day.
• Scan deliveries, verify postings, and manage price changes and markdowns.
• Under pharmacist-in-charge supervision, verify pharmacy shipments and postings; manage recalls and vendor returns.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments, including disposals, calls, and returns.
• Assist in pharmacy inventory activities including recalls, returns, and interstore transfers where applicable.
• Maintain inventory counts and ensure regulatory pricing measures are followed.
• Support front end and pharmacy ordering by monitoring orders and keeping inventory accurate.
