Job summary

Rivian in Irvine, California is seeking a Staff Analyst, Inventory Optimization to analyze demand and supply data, set inventory parameters, and drive optimal stock levels across the service parts network while hitting fill-rate targets and reducing holding costs.

Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools like Servigistics are required. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field. Masters preferred

Responsibilities

• Refine inventory parameters across the distribution network using Servigistics to drive optimal planning outputs.
• Lead scenario and what-if simulations to improve financial performance.
• Develop inventory allocation strategies to mitigate fill rate gaps.
• Monitor inventory performance against targets and conduct root cause analysis for stockouts, E&O, and forecast inaccuracies.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into inventory levels and trends.
• Provide governance insights into performance of part groupings in planning tools.
• Identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives for inventory planning and control.
• Collaborate with planning teams to test and deploy new features in Servigistics.
