Job summary

Crescent Electric is seeking an Inventory Optimization Specialist to manage inventory health across the enterprise by identifying excess, slow-moving, and nonproductive stock. You will analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate across management levels to support supply chain initiatives.

You will collaborate with DC Operations, Category Management, and Procurement, as well as sales, finance, transportation, and branch teams to execute redistribution, returns, and material transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
• 3+ years of direct experience in supply chain activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ERP systems experience; Eclipse Solar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on inventory health and nonproductive inventory.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and branch leadership to identify excess/inactive inventory for returns and stock rotations.
• Execute redistribution and transfers to optimize inventory across networks and business units.
• Collect feedback from sales teams and maintain cross-functional communication on inventory reporting.
