Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the Inventory Management System. You will greet customers in line with our service standards and support stock replenishment and safety practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires basic math, proficiency with Excel/Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED; related retail experience preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of backroom organization standards.
Basic mathematical skills for counting and reconciliation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to learn new technology systems and processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts.

Responsibilities

Perform daily stock counts in the Inventory Management System to ensure accuracy.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of products.
Review and complete pending inventory transactions daily.
Communicate with store director on inventory levels and investigate shortages.
Ensure product levels are replenished on shelves and shelves are properly maintained.
Follow safety procedures and assist with other duties as needed.
