Job summary

Brentwood Industries, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Reading, PA to oversee inventory accuracy, availability, and movement across multiple sites.

You will manage cycle counts, WIP and finished goods, and ensure data integrity in ERP systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Tow motor certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across three Reading, PA sites.
• Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Implement and manage cycle counting programs and full physical inventories.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Generate regular inventory reports for site managers and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with site leads to ensure consistent practices and compliance.
• Support inter-site transfers and logistics coordination.
• Identify inefficiencies in inventory handling and propose process improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.
• Support lean manufacturing and JIT inventory strategies.
• Ensure inventory practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.
